WORLD TOURISM DAY

    

    World Tourism Day is being celebrated all over world every year on 27^th September. The Department of Tourism, Government of Tamil Nadu is also celebrating World Tourism Day on 27^th September in all District in Tamil Nadu with a view to create awareness on Tourism and its importance.

World Tourism day in Theni District had been celebrated by   conducting Elocution, Essay writing, Drawing competitions for School/College Students and prices distributed to the prize winners by the  District Collector, Theni. Tourism awareness rally will be conducted at important Tourist Destinations.

Cleaning Campaign also been conducted at Tourism spots in Theni District.

       Due to Covid 19 as instructed by the Director  by Tourism and in consultation with the District administration World Tourism day ‘2021’ had been organised on line e-seminar on the Theme “Tourism for Inclusive Growth” for the College students and various competitions were conducted for the college students. And for Prize winners prize Distributed by the District Collector, Theni on 27-09-2021
