Workforce in the offices and workshops worship their instruments and tools which are used in their profession in front of Lord Vishwakarma. This is known as the Vishwakarma Puja. It is celebrated in the month of September by all artists, weavers, craftsman and industrial houses. This day is observed on the Kanya Sankranti Day which is followed by the Ganesh Chaturthi.

Vishwakarma Day is mostly celebrated with complete
enthusiasm in offices, workshops and factories in the industrial areas.
Workshops in various factories have a festive look on this day and are
decorated beautifully with Pandals which contain the deities and images of Lord
Vishwakarma and his faithful elephant.
