The Safari visits 5unique venues over the two days including ancient stepwells, old havelis, ancestral homes and a fortified desert camp • Sip signature ‘Colour Me Pink’ cocktails at a pool-side reception on the highest dune in the Thar Desert • Witness the ritual burning of Holika in the ancient temple town of Osian with performances by traditional Rajasthan musicians, singers and dancers • Recline on traditional bolstered gaddas in the Thar Desert while listening to musicians perform under a moon-lit desert sky • Experience a fusion of jazz, world and traditional music over the two days

• Enjoy traditional Jodhpur hospitality when JDH and the old city Hoteliers host The Jodhpur Jazz & Heritage Safari at a private street party • Savour traditional dishes from closely held family recipes prepared by Royals and Chieftains at the farewell party at a private Haveli. Day 1- Osian
At around 4.30 pm, guests will travel 60 kms north to the desert. Osian has been conferred the rare ancient title Patan Nagri which was only given to cities with over 108 temples. The city dates from the 7th century Gupta period which is when we first have a record of Holi being celebrated. It is here, at a sprawling fortified tented camp, built on the highest sand dune in the Thar Desert, that the evening kicks off with a pool-side cocktail party. Day 2 - Jodhpur
On day two in Jodhpur, the festival of colours will commence with “Colour Me Pink’ a brunch and Holi party at Maharaj Brijraj Singh Rathore’s ancestral home, Ratan Vilas. Our vision is to involve the whole city, so The Jodhpur Jazz & Heritage Safari, with a retinue of local musicians, will parade in a convoy of jeeps from our brunch venue, through Jodhpur to theClock Tower for a festive street party.
