Sriganganagar Sthapana Diwas

Sri Ganganagar Foundation Day is celebrated every year on 26th October. This city was founded by Maharaja Gangasingh. Ganganagar city is known to be the place of Sampanta. One gets to see a unique confluence of Punjabi and Rajasthan. On the occasion of Sthapna Diwas, cultural programs are organized by the tourism department like Langa Gayan Symphony, Kalbeliya dance, Punjabi Bhangra, Mayur dance, Phoolo ki Holi, Chakri dance, Chari dance, Bhavai dance and others. Along with this, camel dance show and horse riding is also organized on the sand dunes of Suratgarh. It is a very interesting experience to see.
