Namsoong Festival

Namsoong festival is celebrated every year, in Upper Dzongu region at the confluence of river Teesta and Rongyung Chu. The festival marks the New Year for the Lepchas and is celebrated during the December-January timeframe. The festival is gradually pacing up to be one of the most sought after cultural festival of Sikkim.
