The Monsoon Festival is being organized during mid of July. The concept behind organizing "Monsoon Festival" is to promote Tourism during lean season by offering special discounts on the room tariff of Hotels/Resorts/Guest houses. The main objective of this festival is to promote "Andaman" Throughout the year, 1 365 days tourist destination for all.

Activities
During the festival, stalls will be allotted to local small scale entrepreneurs for sale of home made Food items, Local Art & artifacts, Fun Games etc. Apart from these stalls will also be allotted to service providers such as BSNL, Airtel, Transport Department, Census Department, and Supply Department etc for setting stalls with information about their new schemes etc. Apart from this, live orchestra, cultural/musical programme and rain dance would be added attractions for tourist.
