Mahadev Festival
On the day of Maha Shivratri , mahadev festival has organized from the year 1820 onwards in Bhojpur, Mandsaur, Tikamgarh, Mhow (Indore), Maheshwar (Khargone), Amkheda KaluNateran (Vidisha), Panna Omkareshwar and Ujjain. During this event a picture exhibition centered on Lord Shiva is organized in all these identified areas and bhajans dances and dance dramas center....
On the day of Maha Shivratri , mahadev festival has organized from the year 1820 onwards in Bhojpur, Mandsaur, Tikamgarh, Mhow (Indore), Maheshwar (Khargone), Amkheda KaluNateran (Vidisha), Panna Omkareshwar and Ujjain. During this event a picture exhibition centered on Lord Shiva is organized in all these identified areas and bhajans dances and dance dramas centered on Shiva are staged by eminent artists. With this Lord Mahakal is anointed with 21 lakh lamps on the Shipra bank of Ujjain on the day of Shivratri.
