six temple rituals that are performed in a day:
1. Ushathkalam at 7 a.m.
2. Kalasanthi at 8:00 a.m.
3. Uchikalam at 12:00 p.m.
4. Sayarakshai at 6:00 p.m.
5. Irandamkalam at 7:00 p.m.
6. Ardha Jamam at 10:00 p.m.
Each ritual has three steps: alangaram
(decoration), neivethanam (food offering), and deepa aradanai (waving of
lamps).
