Kaman Utsav 2022, a two-day carnival
celebrating the vibrant hues of the traditional Indian festival Janmathmi
(Birthday of Lord Krishna), is celebrated in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan.
The event hosted by Department of Tourism and District Administration of
Bharatpur in the Kaman region of Bharatpur, is one of the important
celebrations in the cultural calendar of the state to promote cultural
tourism.Known for its distinctive culture, the Braj region spreads from east of
Rajasthan to the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh. Immersed in and inspired
by the devotion for Lord Krishna who is the icon of divine love and pure joy,
the festival of Janmathmi is celebrated in a unique way by the people of the
Bharatpur region. An array of cultural and Other activities will be a course of two days of the festival.
“RAS LEELA” a performance by Local
artists is highlight of the Cultural Evenings. On the opening day of the Utsav,
temples of the Kaman region hosts various forms of Janmotsav celebrations. On
Second day Nandoutsav is held at various temples of Kaman, Bharatpur and
