What You Should Not Miss at Edathua Perunnal:

  • Annual hoisting of the flag that marks the beginning of Edathua Perunnal.
  • Procession of the gold-decked statue of St. George that ends at the Basilica. The statue is then placed on a dias at the center of the church where devotees come to offer prayers.
  • Firework displays, cultural performances, fetes and feasts.
