13TH INTERNATIONAL HERITAGE TOURISM CONCLAVE ‘Adopting sustainable strategies for preserving our cultural legacy’ 12-13 July 2024 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh BACKGROUND PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry aims at creating a strong platform to exchange best practices, discuss challenges and opportunities in the Cultural and Heritage Tourism sector. Building on the previous 12 editions, this Conclave will focus on the importance of safeguarding our shared cultural heritage for future generations, while also exploring innovative approaches to tourism that minimize negative impacts on these sites and the surrounding communities. Heritage Tourism plays a crucial role in building the visitor economy and destinations should seek to maximize the opportunities it brings. Over the past years, PHDCCI has successfully organized 12 editions of International Heritage Tourism Conclave, across various states in India. Taking the legacy forward, PHDCCI will be organizing the 13th International Heritage Tourism Conclave with the theme ख़याल विरासत का from 12-13 July 2024 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The event shall provide a platform for industry leaders, policymakers to converge and explore avenues for collaboration in promoting heritage tourism, sustainable development and cultural preservation.
