The festival begins with installing and decorating a clay idol of Lord Ganesha on a special pedestal. The Prana Pratishtha ritual involves invoking the deity’s presence with prayers, flowers, incense, and lamps. Daily Ganesh Puja and Aarti are performed, offering fruits, sweets (especially modaks), and coconut while reciting mantras. Devotees may fast and focus on worship. Additionally, vibrant rangoli will be created across the temple, adding a colourful and artistic touch to the festivities. The festival concludes with Visarjan (immersion) of the idol in water, symbolizing Lord Ganesha's return to his celestial abode, accompanied by music, dance, and festive celebrations.

Activities
The Ganesh Utsav celebration on September 7, 2024, will start with the Ganesh Murti Sthapana ceremony. Each day will feature melodious bhajans by the Sadguru Bhajan Mandal and ritual worship with Aarti at 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. From September 7 to September 13, 2024, there will be a daily "108 Ashtottara Shata Modak Havan" from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, and devotees are invited to participate as hosts. Throughout the event, the venue will be beautifully decorated with flowers and lights, adding to the festive atmosphere. On each day delicacies naivedya will be offer to Lord Ganesha i.e. Modak, Ukadiche Modak, Puran Poli, Rice Kesari or Sheera, Puliyodarai or Tamarind Rice, Modagam & Coconut Rice. In addition to these rituals, enjoy a Rangoli Making Competition that will be organized during the festival. On the final day, September 13, 2024, the celebration will include vibrant Garba dancing. The festivities will conclude with the immersion of the Ganesh idol at Maharashtra Samaj Bhavan after the 5:00 PM Aarti.
