My Favourite Tourist Destination of Jammu Division - An online competition for different categories exploring Jammu Region.

The Directorate of Tourism, Jammu in collaboration with INFOBUG organized “My Favourite Tourist Destination of Jammu Division” - An online competition for different categories exploring Jammu Region. The entries of the event are opened from 1st to 23rd September, 2023 and winners to be announced and felicitated on 27th September, 2023 on “World Tourism Day”. The content of the competition is based on Jammu Division only. The event is first of its kind with respect to showcasing the rich Art, culture, Handcraft, local cuisines, poetry and other peculiar attractions of Jammu Region. The Directorate of Tourism, Jammu has taken an initiative to provide a potential platform to everyone for showing their talent (thereby invoking a sense of belongingness to the roots of Jammu). Various Categories of the event included :- 1. Photography:- Sub Categories are scenic, Border Tourism, Pilgrimage Circuits, Heritage sites, Adventure Tourism, Wildlife Tourism, Agro –Tourism. 2. Videography/ Reels :- Sub Categories are scenic, Border Tourism, Pilgrimage Circuits, Heritage sites, Adventure Tourism, Wildlife Tourism, Agro –Tourism. 3. Local cuisines with deion and their recipes. 4. Local ethnic products, Desi Attires, Handmade jewellery, cultural traits/traditions. 5. Tagline captions for destinations across Jammu region. 6. Jammu ki Boliyaan: poetry short stories, Essays, Deion Articles, Notes. 7. Local Art and craft, Handloom and Handicraft products and their historical brief.
