INTERNATIONAL WOLF DAY
August 13th is International Wolf Day-An initiative to create
awareness about the importance of Wolves to maintain ecological balance. Nadabet
is celebrating this day in collaboration with Tharad Range, Banaskantha Forest
Department for conservation and preservation of Indian Wolf. Awareness programme
is organized at Nadabet.

Nadabet is suitable ecology
for, Specially Indian desert ecology cannot be described without Wolf. It is
the top predator of semi-arid desert & thorn forest landscape. In Gujarat
population is at red which remain only 200,300 in whole state. Mostly
found in Velavadar, Suigam desert area and Kutch.
Wolf are balancing semi-arid landscape ecosystem, they control
herbivorous and wolf as predator direct effect on flora and fauna they maintain
entire diversity of semi-arid landscape.
