Also, folk dancers add to the festival's vibrant atmosphere with their spirited performances.Every year, the picturesque shore town of Mamallapuram hosts the “Indian Dance Festival” - A Festival of Our Culture and Tradition. The venue for the Mamallapuram- Indian Dance Festival is the front lawn of the Shore Temple. The artists perform on an open-air stage, which provides the finest ambience for the dancers to perform their best during the festival. Some of the most prominent classical dancers in the country perform at the event. This event is a vivid reminder of the ancient connection between people and the arts.
