Heritage Walk: Badass Begum: Old Delhi Tour

The walk covers two things : Shahjahanabad and Mughal Zenana. The Old Delhi or 'Shehr' remains the pumping heart of the Delhi with its narrow streets acting like veins. The streets are riddled with endless monuments that counts more than the people living in it. Not many people realize that most of these monuments were commissioned and designed by Mughal women from 1640s to the middle of the 19th century when the Mughal rule came to a harsh end.
