Heritage Walk

Directorate of Tourism, Jammu is organizing Heritage Walk on 25.01.2025 from Ambaran to Akhnoor at 9.30 AM on the occasion of National Tourism Day to promote the rich cultural Heritage of the twin destinations. Directorate of Tourism Jammu is order to celebrate National Tourism Day 2025 organized Heritage walk from Ambaran to Akhnoor on 25th January 2025 to promote the rich cultural heritage of the twin destinations. The event scheduled for 25th January 2025 will embark on a “2 km” journey through Jammu’s rich history and cultural heritage including flag off point at Ambaran to Gurudwara Tapo Asthan Sant Baba Sunder Singh Ji then Parshuram temple to Pandav Gufa to Jio Pota. The walk promised an unforgettable experience of pride, discovery and togetherness for more than 100 participants from all sections of society including students, travel vloggers, sports enthusiasts etc making them to witness iconic sites, ancient relics and scenic landscapes along this historic route. The walk not only provides the participants with an adventurous experience but also emphasized the significance of Tourism Department in promoting and preserving the cultural and natural treasures of the region. As the Directorate of Tourism, Jammu continues to lead initiatives show casing the beauty and ersity of our land, this heritage walk on National Tourism Day stands as a testament to the commitment to sustainable and enjoyable travel.
