To honor the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Bharat Parv 2025 will feature a special nationwide celebration from November 1 to 15. This edition of Bharat Parv is designed to pay tribute to Patel’s monumental role in unifying India after independence, and to inspire a renewed sense of national pride and unity among citizens. The event will be marked by cultural programs, educational initiatives, and public participation across states and union territories.
The festivities will begin with a grand parade on October 31, celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, at Ekta Nagar in Gujarat. This parade, modeled after the Republic Day parade, will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will showcase India’s rich cultural ersity and military strength. It will serve as a symbolic reaffirmation of the unity that Patel championed during the integration of over 500 princely states into the Indian Union.Throughout the two-week period, cities and towns across India will host cultural exhibitions, folk performances, and patriotic displays. Schools and colleges will organize seminars, essay competitions, and quizzes to educate students about Patel’s legacy. Special events will be held at the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue dedicated to Patel, including light and sound shows, tribal art showcases, and interactive exhibits. The November edition of Bharat Parv will culminate on November 15, coinciding with Birsa Munda Jayanti, further emphasizing the celebration of India’s tribal heritage and freedom fighters. This convergence of historical remembrance and cultural celebration aims to strengthen the spirit of unity and patriotism among all Indians, making Bharat Parv 2025 a landmark event in the country’s commemorative calendar.
