Azamgarh Mahotsav 2024: Uttar Pradesh government's Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi inaugurated the Azamgarh Mahotsav-2024 to be held at the Government Polytechnic College on Wednesday. The minister said that all the people of the district should enjoy this festival to the fullest and cooperate in making the festival successful. He said that Azamgarh Mahotsav is a very big platform to showcase the art, culture and history of Azamgarh.
The organization of Azamgarh Mahotsav is very important to preserve the mythological heritage of Azamgarh. This is a platform where local artists also get an opportunity to showcase their talent on stage. The minister expressed his gratitude to the artists participating in the festival and congratulated all those artists. Along with this, he also congratulated the district administration for organizing the festival.
The program will run till September 22
District Magistrate Navneet Singh Chahal said that Azamgarh Mahotsav 2024 is being inaugurated on the occasion of Azamgarh Foundation Day. This festival will run from 18 to 22 September 2024, in which various artists will give their performances. Also, the history, culture, heritage and art of the country, state and district will be displayed in this festival.
The District Magistrate said that in this festival, along with local artists, state and national level artists will also showcase their art. Appealed to the people of the district to come to Azamgarh Mahotsav in maximum numbers and make the festival a success. Today, in the program of the first day of the festival, Vijay Pyare, Vijay Laxmi Gupta, Arun Singh Anari, Nandini Gaur gave a wonderful presentation of folk singing and Farwahi / Kaharwa folk dance by Mukesh Kumar and Dal Ayodhya North Central Zone Cultural Center Prayagraj.

The District Magistrate said that on the occasion of the foundation day of Azamgarh district, a festival will be organized from 18 to 22 September.
