7th Bhimsen Sangeet Samaroh

Namaskar,This is the 7th annual edition of bhimsen sangeet samaroh hosted by Kalashray Sanstha, Dehradun in memory of Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Ji. This event will have renowned classical artists from all over country. This event will be called as “Jugalbandi series” as there are two performances with first one being of  Dr. Prabhakar and Dr. Diwakar Kashyap (vocal) with Pt. Mithilesh Kumar Jha on Tabla and Shri Sumit Mishra Accompanying on Harmonium. Second performance will be a instrumental jugalbandi of Vidushi Sahana Banerjee on Sitar and Dr. Bipul Kumar Ray on Santoor ,they both will be accompanied by Ustad Akram Khan on tabla and Shri Ankit Parikh on Pakhawaj. This Annual event also annually awards the renowned music artists from across the India for their immense contribution to Indian classical music, the award is called “Swaradhiraj Samman”. Kalashray also promotes art and young talent , So there will be a group of students classical performance.The event is totally free to come and seats are on first come and first serve basis.Dhanyawad.
