Chhattisgarh Green Summit – 1st Edition

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur in association with Vibgyor N. E. Foundation is extremely delighted to announce the 1st Chattisgarh Green Summit, a Pre-Lok-Manthan Edition event from 26th to 28th September 2024 on the theme "Lok, Beyond Folk", at D.D.U Auditorium Raipur, C.G.. The Summit will mainly focus on Environmental Protection & promotion in Lok (Indigenous) tradition, with complementary focus areas being Forest Dwelling Community, Eco-Tourism, Climate Change & Herbal medicine. The Chattisgarh Green Summit will promote the Lok (indigenous) traditions of sustainability, environmental consciousness & community engagement, deeply embedded in Chhattisgarh’s indigenous eco-system since time immemorial. The Summit aims to highlight the rich and erse natural and cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh, showcase the inter-linkages & focus on the need for an integrated approach for sustaining this heritage. Devoted to the consciousness of our nation's unity, humane values, and Lok collection, LokManthan is organized by Prajna Pravah, an organisation that works to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Bharat's cultural and intellectual heritage.
